Section-by-Section Straightening Process to Minimize Damage

Before fully drying the hair, we begin by lightly smoothing the areas with the strongest curl patterns and finer hair using a low temperature of 150°C, as these sections are more prone to heat damage. In particular, the sideburns, bangs, and nape line are the most delicate and high-risk areas during straightening. Because the hair in these sections is both finer and more tightly curled, applying the same heat in a single pass can often lead to burning or damage. For this reason, careful temperature control and a delicate touch are far more important than high heat.
Rather than forcing the hair straight in one step, we work in detailed sections while continuously assessing the hair condition—minimizing damage while achieving a stable and refined result.
After carefully refining the high-risk areas in detail, we move on to the final straightening step.
Since the root area requires neat refinement, straightening was performed at a temperature of 170°C to minimize stress on the hair while achieving a clean finish. On the other hand, the dry sections—where the keratin treatment had already been thoroughly applied in the previous step—were carefully straightened at 190°C to allow the keratin to settle stably into the hair.
