Even for the same type of perm, the strength of the solution and the processing time change completely depending on your hair’s thickness, damage level, curl pattern, and scalp condition.
The catch is that getting this right requires the designer to personally diagnose your hair and scalp — not just apply a formula because “that’s how it’s done.” Skip that diagnosis, and you can end up with a result that was never designed for your hair in the first place.
Why Scalp Care Is Part of a Korean Perm, Not Separate From It
